Fourth place finish in second round of Wild West Shootout at Arizona Speedway

Calvin made his annual trek to the Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Arizona to kick off his 2021 racing season behind the wheel of his #27x Modified. The 6-race mini-series kicked off on Friday night with Calvin showing speed right away, winning his heat race from his 4th starting spot and then racing inside the top ten during the night's main event, crossing the finish line with a 9th place finish.

Sunday, Calvin again started 4th in his heat race and again raced it to the front and won the qualifying race, setting him up with a 3rd starting spot in the main. During the feature, he ran inside the top five all 25-laps and picked up his first top five finish of the season with a fourth-place finish when the checkered flag flew.
