September 26, 2020 - Iverson marches to 11th place finish in Fall Jamboree finale at Deer Creek
1Calvin competed in the USMTS Fall Jamboree at the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN over the weekend with his #27x Modified.

Friday night, he fell out of his heat race, then raced from 13th up to 8th in the b-main and then after starting 31st in the feature, crossed the line with a 24th place finish.

Saturday, he raced from 4th up to 2nd in his heat race, then ran second in the b-main to qualify himself for the $10,000 to win main event. In the feature, he started 19th and raced his way forward to record an 11th place finish in the weekend finale.

September 19, 2020 - Calvin Iverson tops Modified field in Legendary 100 opener at Cedar Lake
1Calvin entered the Legendary 100 at the Cedar Lake Speedway over this past weekend with his #27x Modified and raced to his first career Cedar Lake Speedway feature win on the opening night of the 3-day event. After qualifying on the pole of his main event, he jumped to the lead and lead every lap en route to putting his machine into victory lane for the first time!

1Friday night, he started 2nd in his feature and raced to a fourth place finish, which placed him inside of the second row for the Saturday night championship feature.

In the finale, he raced inside the top five for the majority of the event, coming home with a 9th place finish to cap off a very successful weekend.

August 22, 2020 - Tony Bahr pilots No. 27x at Cedar Lake Speedway
1Calvin made the trip to the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, WI on Friday night for the track's $5,000 to win event. Unfortunately, it was a short-lived event as he was involved in a hard crash in his heat race, which ended his night early. Saturday, Tony Bahr jumped into Calvin's Mod at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI and won his heat race, and ran inside the top ten for much of the feature, only to fall out late in the race, ending his night early.

August 15, 2020 - Iverson marches to podium finish at Cedar Lake Speedway
1Calvin made a pair of starts over the weekend and raced away with a pair of top ten finishes for his efforts.

Friday night, at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wi, Calvin raced to a 5th place finish in his heat race and then came home 9th in the feature.

August 8, 2020 - Sixth place finish in Summer Fling at Humboldt Speedway
1Calvin competed in the Street Stock Little Dream Race at the Rice Lake Speedway in Rice Lake, Wisconsin on Tuesday night in his #27x Street Stock. He was able to race from 3rd to 1st in one of his heat races and then from 7th to 4th in the other, locking him into the $26,000 to win main event. He rolled off 8th, but unfortunately was involved in an early crash and then ended his night early by pulling off with a mechanical issues.

1After the Little Dream, he was back on tour with the United States Modified Touring Series over the weekend at the 81 Speedway in Park City, Kansas; the Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, KS and the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. At 81 on Thursday night, he ran sixth in both his heat race and the b-main and the raced from 24th up to 19th in the main event. Friday at the Hummer, he raced from 5th to 3rd in his heat and came home a solid 6th in the main event, after starting 10th and at Lucas Oil on Saturday to wrap up the weekend, he ran sixth in his heat, fourth in the b-main and posted an 18th place finish in the night's feature event. July 31, 2020 - Calvin Iverson attends Mod Mania at Mason City Motor Speedway
1Calvin wrapped up a long four night USRA Modified swing over the past weekend and is busily preparing for Tuesday night's Street Stock Little Dream Race with his Wissota Street Stock.

This past week started off on Tuesday night with the first of there USMTS nights at the Mason City Motor Speedway in Mason City, IA.

Tuesday night, Calvin ran third in his heat race, before finishing third in the b-main and then racing home with a 13th place finish in the night's feature.

Wednesday was night #2 at Mason City and Calvin ran 8th in his heat race, then came home 4th in the b and raced to a 15th place finish in the feature.

Thursday night was the 3rd and final night at Mason City and he was able to race to a 6th place finish in his heat before coming home 6th in the b and then placing 15th in the feature for the second night in a row. His weekend capped off on

1Friday night at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, Wi, where he entered USRA Modified and B-Mod action during the Casey Knutson Memorial. In the Mod, he ran 9th in the heat race and came home 20th in the feature and in the B-Mod, he ran 6th in his heat and then fell out of the b-main.

July 25, 2020 - Iverson lands sixth place finish in Imperial Tile Silver Dollar Nationals at I-80 Speedway
1Calvin continued his pursuit of the 2020 USMTS Rookie of the Year title as he entered three USMTS events over the past week. Tuesday night, the team made their way to the monster Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, IA for a mid week event, which saw him run 6th in his heat race and then move forward from his 11th starting spot to finish 7th in the feature.

1After a couple nights off, Team 27x made their way to the I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska for a pair of $3,000 to win events during Silver Dollar Nationals weekend. Friday night, Calvin ran fifth in his heat race and came home 16th in the feature and then he was able to improve on Saturday night, finishing 3rd in his heat and 6th in the night's main event. July 17, 2020 - Top 10 finish in B-Mod in Karl Fenske Memorial at Fountain City
1Calvin was in action on Friday night at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, WI for the Karl Fenske Memorial.

Calvin entered USRA Modified and USRA B-Mod action and after winning his B-Mod heat race, he came home 7th in the main event.

In the Modifieds, he ran second in his heat race and recorded a 15th place finish in the feature.

All in all, a solid night in memory of a long-time racer!

July 5, 2020 - Iverson takes part in busy Fourth of July weekend slate
1Calvin had a busy holiday weekend, competing in four events over the four day stretch. He started off his weekend on Thursday night at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, WI in his USRA Modified. After winning his heat race, Calvin started 4th in the main and ran inside the top ten all event long, coming home 8th. Friday, the team was back at MTS for the second night in a row, picking up a 2nd place finish in his heat race before falling out of the feature before the checkered flag flew.

1Saturday night, Calvin made his way to the Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN for a regular event and after running 7th in his heat race, he moved foward from his 19th starting spot up to finish 11th and then Sunday night, the team took their Street Stock to the Eagle Valley Speedway in Jim Falls, Wi and blew the transmission in the heat race, ending their night early.

June 26, 2020 - Top 5 finish in USRA stop at Mississippi Thunder Speedway

June 20, 2020 - Eighth place finish in Webster City Wrangle at Hamilton County
1 Calvin just wrapped up a 5 race swing with the USMTS across the state of Iowa.

Tuesday, Calvin competed at the Stuart International Speedway in Stuart, Iowa. He raced from 4th to 2nd in his heat race before earning the Sybesma Pole Award and starting on the pole for the 50 lap main event. During the feature, Calvin was battling for second and was involved in an altercation, which he ended up going to the tail for. He finished 19th.

1Wednesday the series made the trip over to the Cedar County Speedway in Tipton. Calvin started 6th and finished 5th in his heat before coming home 18th in the night's main event. (Jacy Norgaard photo)

Thursday, the team made a stop at the Mason City Motor Speedway in Mason City. The weather caused the program to be rushed through as a storm was approaching, but Calvin managed a 3rd place finish in his heat race and an 11th place finish in the main before the rains came.

Friday, at the Rapid Speedway, Calvin ran 6th in his heat race and then raced home with a 13th place finish in the feature.

Saturday, the fifth of five nights of the Iowa Speedweek, was held at the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City and Calvin capped off the week with a top ten finish. He ran third in his heat race and then came home with an 8th place finish when the final checkered flag flew.

June 13, 2020 - Iverson opens Masters weekend at Cedar Lake with Top 10 Finish
1 Calvin continued on tour with the USMTS this past weekend at the 21st annual Masters at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wi.

Thursday night, he started fifth in his heat race and raced up to pick up the win. He then started 8th in the feature and raved his way to a solid 6th place finish when the checkered flag flew.

Friday, he started 8th in his heat and went on to finish fourth in it. He then ran third in the b-main, earning a starting spot in the night's main. During the main, he worked his way forward from his 21st starting spot to finish 17th at the checkered.

Saturday, Calvin started 6th and finished 3rd in the heat, earning the 11th starting spot in the feature, where he finishing 16th after the 50-lapper was over.

June 6, 2020 - Top 10 Finish in USMTS Action at Lucas Oil Speedway
1 Calvin was back in action over the weekend and continues to lead the USMTS Rookie of the Year point standings for his efforts.

Jake was back on the road with the USMTS as the series competed in a 4 day stretch across the Midwest. The 4 day swing started on Wednesday at the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO. Calvin started on the pole of his het race and was able to come home with a second place finish. In the feature, Calvin rolled off 10th and raced inside the top ten all night long, crossing the checkered flag with an 8th place finish.
Thursday night at the 81 Speedway in Park City, KS, Calvin won his heat race from the pole and redrew the 4th starting spot for the feature. In the main, Calvin stayed out of trouble and came home with a 16th place finish. 

Friday, the team made their way to the Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, KS. At the Hummer, Calvin ran second in his heat race, which earned him the 9th place starting spot for the feature. From 9th, Calvin raced inside the top ten for the majority of the feature, placing 12th when the checkered flag flew.

Saturday night, the 4 race tour wrapped up at the Tri-State Speedway in Pocola, OK. Calvin ran fifth in his heat race before coming home third in the night's b-main, qualifying himself for the night's feature event. In the feature, he rolled off 18th and worked his way forward to come home 11th when the night's 40-lapper wrapped up.

May 30, 2020 - Calvin Iverson Lands Fourth Place Finish at Mississippi Thunder Speedway
1Calvin was back in action over the weekend, where he entered action on Friday night at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, WI and on Saturday at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI. Friday night, Calvin won his heat race from the outside of the front row before starting 6th in the feature and crossing the checkered flag with a fourth place finish.

1Saturday night, Calvin started 8th and finished fourth in his heat race at Cedar Lake, then he proceeded to start 16th in the feature, before racing his way to a 10th place finish for his efforts.

May 25, 2020 - Trio of Podium Finishes Over Memorial Day Weekend
1Calvin was back in action this past week with events in Iowa and Wisconsin on his schedule. 

Friday, May 15th, he entered USRA action at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway in Fountain City, WI and after running second in his heat race, he came home with a sixth place finish in the night's main event.

1Thursday, May 21st, he made the trip to the Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, IA for USRA action and after winning his heat from third, he started fourth in the main and battled up front the entire distance, coming home with a solid third place finish.

Friday, he was back at the Mississippi Thunder Speedway for USMTS action and after running third in both his heat race and the feature, he started 40-lap main event from the 17th position and blasted his way forward in hard charging fashion to come home with an impressive 4th place when the checkered flew.

1Sunday, he capped off his Memorial Day weekend with a trip to the Eagle Valley Speedway in Jim Falls, Wi for unsanctioned Modified racing. He won his heat from fifth and charged from his 7th starting spot in the feature up to a solid runner up finish, capping off a solid weekend.

May 1, 2020 - Calvin Iverson Returns to Action at Mississippi Thunder Speedway
1With the promoters and track officials mandating several precautionary measures to hold the event during the ongoing Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Calvin Iverson traveled to Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wisc.) on Friday evening powering his Kelly Iverson Trucking No. 27x USRA Modified. Coming in sixth in his heat race, Iverson locked into the 22nd-starting position for the A-Main. Improving eight spots in the 25-lapper, Calvin notched a 14th place outing.  (Fotos by Fizzle)

March 7, 2020 - Iverson Charges to 7th-Place Finish in Spring Nationals Finale at Big O Speedway
1Calvin was back on the road with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) this weekend for a tripleheader at the Big O Speedway in Ennis, TX. The opener was rained out, but the Friday and Saturday portions of the program were held as planned. 

Friday, Calvin ran sixth in his heat race on a slimy race track before starting 9th and racing up to 4th in the b-main. From there, he started 20th and raced his way up to 13th in the feature.

Saturday, he started 7th and ran 5th in his heat race, then started 5th and ran 4th in the b, before starting 20th in the 40-lap main event and earning hard charger honors by storming through the field up to a 7th place finish.

March 1, 2020 - Runner-up Finish in USMTS Opener at I-37 Speedway
1 Calvin was in action this past weekend with the United States Modified Touring Series as the group kicked off the 2020 season in South Texas. (Tyler Rinken photo)

Friday night, at the I-37 Speedway in Pleasanton, Calvin was fast out of the gate, winning his heat race from the outside of the front row, earning his first ever USMTS pole award. In the feature, Calvin lead the first handful of laps before settling in to the second spot and racing home with a career best runner up finish for his efforts.

1Saturday, at South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi, he ran fourth in his heat race before coming home with a 14th place finish in the main event.

Sunday wrapped up the opening weekend at the Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, TX and Calvin ran 6th in his heat race, ninth in the b-main and then used a provisional to start the feature, racing from 23rd up to 16th when the checkered flew.

January 19, 2020 - Calvin Iverson Attends Wild West Shootout at Arizona Speedway
1 Calvin completed his 6 night Wild West Shootout run at the Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Az and came out of the desert with 4 top ten finishes for his efforts.

He claimed a third, a fifth, an eighth, a ninth, an eleventh and a fourteenth during the six nights in his #27x USRA Modified.

With over 40 Modified competitors each night, posting top ten runs during 4 of the 6 nights was very impressive for the first year Modified racer.

January 5, 2020 - Iverson Lands a Pair of Top 5 Finishes in Battle at the Border in New Mexico
1Calvin opened his 2020 racing season at the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico during the 3 day Battle at the Border.

Calvin competed with the USRA Modifieds all weekend.

December 31, 2019 - Calvin Iverson and Iverson Motorsports Launch New Team Website
1In a culmination between FYE Motorsports and MSR Mafia Marketing & PR Services, a brand-new website has been launched for multi-division racer, Calvin Iverson at at www.IversonMotorsports.com.

On the heels of a successful 2019 campaign, the team is already preparing to kick off the 2020 season. Action opens with Modified competition at the inaugural Battle at the Border at New Mexico's Vado Speedway Park on January 3-5.

From there, the racing shifts to FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona). A total of six Modified programs will be held from January 11-19.
