Iverson Charges to 7th-Place Finish in Spring Nationals Finale at Big O Speedway

Calvin was back on the road with the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) this weekend for a tripleheader at the Big O Speedway in Ennis, TX. The opener was rained out, but the Friday and Saturday portions of the program were held as planned.

Friday, Calvin ran sixth in his heat race on a slimy race track before starting 9th and racing up to 4th in the b-main. From there, he started 20th and raced his way up to 13th in the feature.

Saturday, he started 7th and ran 5th in his heat race, then started 5th and ran 4th in the b, before starting 20th in the 40-lap main event and earning hard charger honors by storming through the field up to a 7th place finish.
