Calvin Iverson notches runner-up finish in fourth round of WWS

Calvin was back in action for the final three nights of the Wild West Shootout in Arizona to cap off the six race mini-series in the desert. After racing from 4th to 1st in his heat race, he started the feature inside of the second row and was able to work his way forward and race for the lead for much of the event, eventually finishing a solid second when the checkered flag flew.

Saturday night, he won his heat from the pole earning the 11th starting spot in the feature. From 11th, he raced inside the top ten early before officially being credited with a 17th place run when the night was complete. (Fotos by Fizzle)

Sunday, he raced from 5th to 4th in his heat race, before starting 4th in the b-feature and running second, earning the 20th starting spot in the finale. From there, he was able to advance five positions to be credited with a 15th place finish.
